Take control of your SharePoint® Development and Deployments
SharePoint® is an excellent application development platform that offers a rich set of features for building solutions. However, there are challenges related to team development with SharePoint Web content management applications and to the limited deployment functionality that is available. These add an additional layer of complexity to a traditional .NET application. Orckestra's Concerto is the answer to those challenges.
Discover how Concerto brings your team to the next level:
SharePoint Explorer
SharePoint Explorer is a Visual Studio Add-In which allows team members to work on artefacts (files and folders) on a local or remote SharePoint server instead of using SharePoint Designer. It leverages Team Foundation Server features such as source control and associating check-ins to work items.
Benefits:
- Improve productivity and collaboration by leveraging the integration with Team Foundation Server
- Facilitate and encourage ALM best practices
Configuration Console
The Configuration Console is used to set up Concerto's integration with Team foundation Server. It allows users to configure different deployment packages for a given application and manage the steps required to deploy them. These packages can then be deployed through the Deployment Console.
Benefits:
- Improve reliability by centralizing all deployment package configurations and execution steps
- Reduce deployment complexity and manageability through an intuitive graphical user interface
Deployment Console
The Deployment Console is accessible both from Visual Studio and as a standalone application. It provides users with a graphical user interface to easily deploy a SharePoint® site with a single click while providing detailed logging information.
The standalone application is used for deploying testing, QA or production environments. It also provides a command line interface for running in batch processes.
Benefits:
- Improve traceability for compliance by centralizing all code and authoring artefacts in a central location
- Reduce the GAP between the complexity of a traditional web or a .NET project and a SharePoint project
