Business Solutions Architect

The Business Solutions Architect will have a strategic role within his/her team and will have to define the solutions to implement. The Architect will determine the technological aspects of this solution and will oversee the systems’ integration. Besides defining and selecting the proper tools, the Architect will manage the resources in a matrix management mode. With the business analyst, he/she will ensure that the solution answer the business goals. The architect will work closely with the clients and will propose creative solutions and elaborate the business architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, identifies tests, certifies, and selects technology products required for solution delivery
  • Ensure quality of technical solution through regular checkpoints and reviews
  • Develop road mapping including impact analysis and the researching of new opportunities
  • Assist in the evolution of project plans and methodologies
  • Supervise the development of our e-commerce solution to assure proper goal achievement
  • Coordinate the development according to the client’s needs
  • Respect delivery dates including deliverables
  • Produce proper architectural documentation for all of his e-commerce solutions
  • Be aware of latest e-commerce trends and practices
  • Able to produce prototypes based on the latest trends using Microsoft .NET based solutions
  • Reviews the designs and the codes created by software engineers to ensure architectural principles are adhered to

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in IT field preferred
  • At least 7 years experience in IT, including a minimum of 3 years experience with e-commerce platforms such as Microsoft Commerce Server 2009
  • A very good knowledge of the object-oriented modeling and design and a good knowledge of the establishment patterns are mandatory
  • Familiar with the concepts and technologies of the service oriented architecture (SOA) especially in an e-commerce environment
  • Must master the elements and different parts of the software’s lifecycle
  • Strong experience in information architecture, content and knowledge management solutions
  • Experience with C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net.Net 3.5, Silverlight 3.0/4.0, SQL, WPF and WCF
