Project Manager, Intermediate
Under the supervision of the Director, Project Management Office, the Project Manager, Intermediate is in charge of the management and the delivery of the projects that have been assigned to him/her. He/She must also supervise the assigned development team. He/She is the main contact between the clients and the company and he/she oversees the good functioning of the internal teams (programming, integration, graphic design, quality testing, etc.) assigned to the different projects. He/she must keep an excellent relation with the clients and remains available to them throughout the project.
Responsabilities:
Project Management
- Ensure the delivery of the projects within the planned budget and schedule
- Ensure a daily and efficient coordination of all the participants related to the projects’ development
- Write the plans and project scope statements, along with the development team
- Control the planned budget and schedule
- Ensure the delivery of the projects according to the specifications and requirements understood with the client
- Manage the requests for modification, corrections and unresolved items
- Analyze, decrease and ensure the follow-up on the risks related to the project
- Report to the project management office regarding the evolution of the assignment
- Ensure the project deliverables’ quality
- Coordinate the client process for approval for each project delivery
Team Management
- Plan and ensure, with the help of the development team, the follow-up of the work elements for each iteration in an Agile method (Scrum)
- Organize and plan the daily morning team meetings (Scrum Meetings)
- Coordinate the progress and evaluate the performance of the development team members
- Ensure a meticulous implementation of the quality standards and the configuration management process of the company
- Ensure the implementation of any other process and methodological elements of the company
Demands Management
- Analyze the clients business needs and collect the users requirements
- Write the use-case specifications according to the company’s iterative methodology
- Define the strategies and implement the corresponding tests plan
- Carry through and ensure the follow-up of the start-up and the success of the finished tests
- Coordinate the functional and technical validation of the developed solutions
Exigences requises:
Essential
- At least 4 years experience in Web project management
- At least 4 years experience in business needs analysis
- Great interpersonal skills and great written and spoken skills
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
- Oriented toward results and customer satisfaction
- Attention to details
- Able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Able to manage and prioritize 2-3 substanstial projects simultaneously
- Leadership and proactive
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
- Bilingual, French and English, both written and spoken
Assets
- PMP Certification or CAPM
- Knowledge of the Agile methodologies and ScrumMaster certification
- Knowledge of .Net environment and Visual Studio Team System (Team Foundation Server)
- Knowledge of the Microsoft business applications
