Our E-Commerce team is looking for an Account Manager (CSD) reporting to the Vice-President, Global Enterprise Sales and Partnerships. The ideal candidate has enterprise level software solutions sales experience in the retail and consumer products hardlines and softlines industries and will be responsible for upselling commerce software solutions and services to medium and large enterprises accounts in our existing base of customers.

As one of Orckestra’s CSD, your mission will be to build strong relationships with clients to ensure you are meeting their solutions needs. The CSD will ensure that clients are satisfied with the services and products we provide and will know what clients appreciate, what keeps them a satisfied client and what extra services we can provide them so we know their needs and can help them work towards them – all while keeping their budget and our mutual efforts in mind.  You are responsible for achieving sales revenue goals for an assigned territory and manage sales pursuits through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.  

To this aim, you will need to understand the customer buying and decision process as well as develop relationships with key decision makers. For each of your accounts, you will have to build an account map to qualify your contacts at all level of the organization and understand each stakeholder’s pain, power and preference. Your success also depends on developing, building, and strengthening relationships with internal Orckestra stakeholders and in collaborating with technical specialists and other subject matter experts with the ultimate objective of closing business in the assigned territory.

Main responsibilities

  • Develops account strategies and collaborates with virtual teams on strategic planning and deal execution, all the while creating optimal conditions for customer base satisfaction
  • Develops and executes a 1-3-year strategic plan for each customer
  • Ensures account optimization by driving revenue growth and securing new projects and incremental service opportunities
  • Responsible for specific sale quotas and account development, as well as planning and profiling strategies
  • Builds relationships at the executive level - CIO, CMO, CEO, and develops relationships within IT and the VP Line of Business and ensure referencability
  • Works effectively with distributed teams, takes strategic direction from opportunity owners and takes team member input into account and acts as the client advocate on the project implementation and ongoing evolution
  • Creates presentations and presents them to IT executives and different lines of business to deepen understanding of product offering
  • Delivers our value proposition and generates new projects through events, effective marketing tactics, negotiation, financial analysis, business process consulting and automation
  • Manages processes and activities around the existing client to drive revenue
  • Improves client’s satisfaction through improved communication and offering
  • Builds solid relationships to understand our most valued client’s business needs and strategic goals
  • Works closely with Product Management team to make sure that everything goes smoothly for the client, both in the implementation process and then throughout the relationship
  • Manages, negotiates and executes client contracts

Desired profile

  • Passion for customer success and working cross-functionally within a diverse team to deliver outstanding results
  • Ability to translate complex technical information in Layman’s terms
  • Problem solving skills and ability to present efficient solutions, clearly and concisely Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Regional travel is required for this role (approximately 30%) by land and/or air
  • High comfort level and presence with senior retail executives
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and French, command of another language an asset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent in Business, Computer Science or other related disciplines;
  • 6-9 years’ experience in sales/account management with major accounts in the IT industry, preferably in digital / omnichannel commerce or in Complex Software solutions.
