Project Management Technician

The Project Management Technician joins a dynamic team of Project Managers and plays an important role in supporting Orckestra’s internal and external projects. The Project Management Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with the financial, quality and administrative constraints of current projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Managers in:
    • the monitoring project financials and KPIs;
    • invoicing terms and contract monitoring;
    • preparing and maintaining deliverables;
  • Maintain internal information systems for operational activities management (new employees, projects, etc.);
  • Identify issues or possible deviations and communicate them to the project manager;
  • Participate in the improvement of the company’s Project Management processes;
  • Responsible for setting up collaboration platforms for each team;
  • Actively contribute to the financial monitoring plan (budgets, efforts, deadlines, resources);
  • Prepare progress reports (dashboards, project reviews, etc.);
  • Identify and communicate gap risks and issues;
  • Ensure follow-up of quality assurance processes (review and approval of deliverables);
  • Resource planning: efforts, requirements, time sheets;
  • Invoice preparation; and
  • All other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) of experience in a role supporting Web project management;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience;
  • Excellent command of MS Office (MS Project and Excel);
  • Bilingual (French and English) spoken and written;
  • Organized;
  • Initiative and spirit of collaboration; and
  • Solid understanding of the financial aspects of an external (client-focused) project context.
