Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Director of Professional Services provides strategic leadership and vision for the delivery of products and services, talent management, client relationships and cost effectiveness. He will more specifically be responsible for managing the AGILE delivery teams responsible for developing the Orckestra e-commerce solution which are in line with the clients’ needs. He will work closely with the Managed Services, IT, Sales and the Orckestra development team. 

He will participate in strategic planning processes and related activities to support and communicate the vision, goals and values of the company.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the Orckestra Business Solution Delivery Teams:
    • Ensure the delivery of products and services by analyzing, implementing and deploying solutions;
    • As an influential leader, prioritize and communicate to staff the key milestones in achieving organizational goals;
    • Promote the brand message internally (mission, vision and values);
    • Improve the management tool (KPI dashboard) for the organization as needed, ensuring the financial health and profitability of the teams' projects;
  • Responsible for client relations:
    • Establish and maintain sound business relationships with clients to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty;
    • Design work plans that meet changing needs and requirements, all the while managing client expectations;
    • Seize opportunities for potential new service offers;
  • Support the sales team during marketing activities, business proposals, etc. ; and
  • Collaborate with the company's cross-functional departments to achieve objectives and results.

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent;
  • Eight (8) years of management experience focused primarily on the Agile method;
  • Experience in designing and implementing ITIL processes;
  • Experience in software product delivery, systems integration and product development; and
  • Understanding the dynamics of retail, infrastructure, software and e-commerce.

Skills and abilities:

  • Strong management skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - you are a natural leader and trainer;
  • Analytical thinking and focused on process development and methodologies, effectively anticipating problems and initiating corrective actions;
  • Srong business acumen and a strategic, results-oriented vision while optimizing operations; and
  • Qualities in written / spoken communication and as a presenter (French / English).
